See, I'm not dead! See!?

I've wanted to draw this guy since I saw the movie earlier tihs year.. This is Blackheart, the son of Mephistopheles, from the movie "Ghost Rider". (Which I actually liked quite a bit! Enough to buy it, even.)

Anyway, he's just a sketch that I was rather excited about. I'm going to experiment with skin colors by trying to paint him (in Painter). This took me about an hour, pencil, reference used but the pose is mine. (This is what he's supposed to look like.) Sorry my scanner ate all my delicate shading.... Ah well, he's going to be painted, so I guess it doesn't matter.

Also, he's probably the most evil thing you'll ever see in my gallery. :P


EDIT 11/7: I rescanned this with my NEW SCANNER! and it makes *such* a difference.. It actually looks like *pencil* now..!!! <3

Wow, that does look a lot better! It is neato what a difference a scanner can make to a...scanned drawing. Um. Yes.
